Marshfield Country Walks

Located in Unspoilt Cotswold Countryside

Marshfield is surrounded by beautiful and unspoilt cotswold countryside.  Whether it’s a small walk with the family or a large adventurous walk with your dogs, the surrounding footpaths provide a rich variety to suit all tastes.  A little exercise before before or after a meal or drink is a perfect way to spend a few hours.  The Catherine Wheel is dog friendly so plenty of refreshments (water) for them too!

Darts

Generally available when rear dining room free.  Please ask at bar or arrange a booking.

World Famous Marshfield Mummers

Boxing Day - Every Year

In Marshfield every Boxing day, starting at 10:30 there are Carols and a Brass Band playing before the entrance of the Mummers greets the crowd at 11:00.  The mummers do a series of plays that are steeped in history and will finally finish at the Catherine Wheel at 11:45.  The Wheel is open for refreshments, mulled wine, minced pies and sandwiches.  Later there is live but informal folk music until around 5pm.
